This policy explains what cookies Valleys & Bytes utilizes, why I use them, and how you can control them. I believe so firmly in radical transparency โ no hidden trackers, no surprises.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, to remember your preferences, and to give website owners information about how their site is being used.
Valleys & Bytes(accessible at pansensoyglenn-dev.github.io/code-sense/) uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage and session storage. This policy covers all of them.
I apply data minimisation: I use only the cookies that are genuinely necessary or that you have explicitly opted into. I do not use advertising networks, cross-site tracking pixels, or behavioural profiling.
The table below lists every cookie currently set by Code Sense. We review and update this list whenever cookies change.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the panel below. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the site to function.
Valleys & Bytes limits third-party cookies to an absolute minimum. The only third-party cookie we may set โ and only with your explicit consent โ is the LinkedIn Insight Tag for measuring the effectiveness of any LinkedIn-based promotions.
I do not embed Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any other behavioural advertising or cross-site tracking technology. Our analytics are handled via a self-hosted, privacy-first instance of Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies at all for its core measurement.
I will never add a third-party tracking or advertising cookie without updating this policy and obtaining fresh consent from you first.
In addition to the preference panel above, you can manage cookies directly in your browser. Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies at any time:
Chrome: Settings โ Privacy and Security โ Cookies and other site data.
Firefox: Preferences โ Privacy & Security โ Cookies and Site Data.
Safari: Preferences โ Privacy โ Manage Website Data.
Edge: Settings โ Cookies and site permissions โ Cookies and site data.
Blocking essential cookies may cause parts of Valleys & Bytes to stop working correctly. If you experience issues after disabling cookies, please contact us.
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is currently no universal standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, Code Sense does not alter its behaviour in response to them.
However, my analytics implementation already does not track individuals across sites, does not create user profiles, and does not share data with advertising networks โ regardless of DNT. We consider our baseline privacy posture to be in the spirit of DNT by default.
I may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via a prominent banner on the site.
I encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of Code Sense after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If you have questions about my use of cookies or wish to exercise any rights related to cookie data, please reach out through any of the following channels.
